We are currently investigating factors of importance as to the work environment and safety on board ships among seafarers in the Swedish merchant fleet. Results and conclusions will be presented here on www.maritimehealth.se.

The Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, has since the 80-ies performed a number of projects on seafarers work related risk factors. Most of these works are accessible through this website – read more under Publications.
